Short walk through Durham

I had a business meeting in the NC Mutual Insurance this week. The prospect of a meeting there was exciting to me because I still had never been inside of that building. It was actually very pleasant with lots of patio outside and a spacious lobby with lots of natural light inside. The building itself is on a high point in the city so even though it is only 12 stories, the views made it seem much taller. (Pictures of the building are in this article at the bottom.)

On my walk back to my office from the NC Mutual Building, I took the opportunity to go in the new Durham Station bus terminal. On the outside, it looks pretty cool but inside it seems like nothing but wasted space. On the other hand, all of that glass faces in toward the city and gives a really nice and protected view of downtown.
